Terms of Service

Terms

SeamCert is operated by Website Services, 2 St John St, London, EC1V 4LZ (“we”). Correspondence: [email protected].

1. Free scans

A free scan is an automated, static reading of the text you submit. It does not compile or execute code and it is not a certificate of correctness. It can miss defects and can flag benign constructs. Do not submit material you are not authorised to share with us.

2. Deep Audits

  • We audit the repository commit and named theorems you specify on the order page, and publish the written report at an unlisted URL within the stated number of working days of payment. If a repository requires substantially more work than a standard audit (such as builds requiring over 32 GiB of RAM or many main theorems), we will notify you before starting and offer a full refund or a bespoke quote.
  • Every finding in the report states whether a kernel decided it or it is our reading. We do not warrant that a proof, a formal statement, or an accompanying paper is true, and our total liability for any claim arising from an audit is limited to the fee paid.
  • We keep private code confidential, use it solely to perform your audit on an isolated machine, and delete our copy within 30 days of delivering the report.
  • Refunds: in full if we have not begun work, or if we cannot access or build the commit you named. Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to cancel; if you instruct us to begin within that period, any refund is reduced by the work already performed. Once the report is delivered, the service is complete.

3. Claims ledger

The claims pages summarise public sources and cite them. They are not our independent verification of any claim unless explicitly marked as replayed by SeamCert. If a cited fact is inaccurate or superseded, email us and we will amend the record.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
